*bayer will waste your time.
i reached out to a contact on linkedin who worked for bayer in recruiting. several weeks later i was but into an interview conversation with the recruiter for the role. the interview went very well although i did feel the interviewer was a bit "rough around the edges" but personable nonetheless. at the end she stated my resume would be forwarded for review.
several weeks passed and i heard nothing so i reached out directly. again. nothing. taking the hint, i choose to have fun with this situation as i had wasted my time in pursing an interview for a position that most likely was not even open. so i got rather short with the final email. true to fashion this particular email elicited a response.
this time the "nice" recruiter acted like she was doing me a favor with the typical "your resume is being reviewed by the executive team" and "please feel free to call to discuss..?"
no. i will not waste anymore of time providing you an excuse for your job, in "recruiting qualified candidates" that obviously no job exists for.
i made sure to say that "obviously there is or is several strong internal candidates for the role.."
no answer.
this speaks volumes about company culture.
no way i would want to work here, and judging from other reviews this is a true statement.
