Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Baxter (Chicago, IL) en oct 2020

      Entrevista

The interview process was very typical. I spoke first with the recruiter and then had a series of interviews with sales and legal folks. This position had been put on hold pre-pandemic and reopened. I was told in my initial interview with the recruiter that they had been close to hiring someone for the position pre-pandemic but that person was NO LONGER IN THE RUNNING (this will be important later on). I went through the whole process, did well in all four interviews, received great feedback from all of the interviewers and was told by the recruiter that they all liked me and couldn't think of one thing on which I could improve. So, guess what happened? They hired the person that was NO LONGER IN THE RUNNING for the position. After wasting my time on the interview process, I was told to standby for a couple of weeks and, as they were trying to get approval for a second hire (me, I'm guessing). But, predictably, that never happened. Fast forward several months later, the recruiter gets back in touch with a similar open position. I would have had to go through the entire interview process again, with the understanding that they were dishonest the first time. After much thought, I declined.
