      Entrevista

      A phone screen with the recruiter who; asked for my salary history, revealed a 'bait & switch' tactic stating that the title was not reflective of the actual role and said that I should consider that Baxter was offering a package (base, bonus and equity) that wasn't even as much as my expected minimum base expectations. I went through the entire interview process and it went exceptionally well. I resonated with the hiring manager and my prospective team members. Yet at the completion of the process, I was told that they were 'going in another direction'. January 2018, I hear from HR by email, out of the blue, inviting me to reapply for the same position that they have already interviewed me for (when two weeks prior, they said that they were 'going in another direction'). I thought about it and obliged their request. That was the last I have heard from Baxter. I watched as they posted and reposted and reposted the position over and over again, looking for someone who brought as much to the table as I, but not quite as expensive. From the number of times this position was reposted, I gather that they never found a cheaper version of me. The job has been removed from online. I have no idea what has become of the position; if they have canceled it, if they have filled it with a warm body with a pulse; I simply do not know. My conclusion is that Baxter has wasted a great deal of my time. Baxter is most interested in getting high caliber talent, but they do not want to pay for it and therefore they do not value high caliber talent.
