The interview process was smooth. But, the trouble was that the one who assessed my papers (I later came to know about it) was less skilled than me. I don't mean to demean the interviewer. But, the company must realize that the interviewer should be capable enough to address your questions on the mistakes that you might have committed during the interview process. This is a standard requirement these days. When you are done with the interview, whether you are selected, you must ask what mistakes you committed. This will help you improve. But, it hardly happened because the interviewer wasn't skilled enough. Although I got selected, but it is a point worth noting. Also, the entire interview process centered around the industry-specific writing standards. I later came to know that there aren't any and that apparently our target readers/users had fairly high language skills. If that was the case, why weren't we encouraging our employees and colleagues to develop their language skills? This was a considerable mismatch with the interview.

The process was quick and the interactions were mostly to the point. The final round of interview was taken by the Senior Manager, Testing, who back then was heading the documentation department.
