Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Barrett Business Services (Santa Ana, CA) en oct 2017
Entrevista
Started with a basic phone screening from the recruiter then an in-person interview with the hiring manager. I was asked to come back in for another interview with one of their business partners. Then they asked me to come back again to interview with an operations manager and another business partner. After the third interview it was clear that they were more concerned about fitting in with the team than actual loss control/risk management experience. I received an email a week later letting me know that I would not be offered the position. About a month later the recruiter contacts me again and informs me that they were having second thoughts and would like to setup yet another interview with colleagues I'd be working with from other business units (two HR consultants and a payroll specialist). During the interview the employees seemed a little nervous and relied heavily on their behavioral interview question sheet instead of trying to get to know me. The hiring manager later popped in and expressed his concern about me being too passive and I needed to sell him on why I'm the one. At that point I realized that it wasn't going to be a good fit for me. My advice would be to set clear expectations on the type of personality the candidates should possess (I’m assuming this is because they have a lot of angry customers that need to be dealt with). It might also be wise to perhaps consolidate a few of the interviews into one panel interview so everyone’s time is not wasted.
