      Too many people interviewing (US and UK) and process is too long before an offer. The turnover rate in HR is very high; trading floor setup; promotion process is inconsistent; and UK tells US what to do so no real ownership with project start to finish

      Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Barclays (Pune) en feb 2017

      Entrevista

      I was an outstation candidate. I had cleared the 1st round of interview with them.2 days prior to the interview they requested for a face to face evaluation at Pune. I said Yes. My interview was scheduled with the HR Director at 04:30 PM. I reached the venue at 04:10PM.The interview started at 7:00PM.It lasted for 8mins. The interviewer was least prepared and took the interview just because I was waiting for so long. The interviewer asked same question in rephrasing each question in 4different ways. I answered that with all patience. In the end they didn't share the feedback & suggested if I could take up a part time consulting assignment which will not on Barclays Payroll. Basically if the HR Processes have been outsourced there was no reason to cause such trouble for all candidates. It was one of the worst experiences of my entire career. This position is still available on LinkedIn however after the interview they offer you a contract based role. The selection process is just a sham. They are not serious about it.

      I would like to apologise for your experience, this is definitely not what we aim to deliver for our candidates. I will feed your comments to the team in Pune so they are aware and can take any steps to prevent this happening to other candidates.
