Really disappointed after going through 5-stages (application, online test, and 3 interviews), the hiring manager did not have the courtesy to let me know I had been unsuccessful. I had no reason to think I wasn't in the running and I didn't receive a phone call or an email, and only found out after checking my career portal online. I was hoping for a bit more decency than being ghosted after a 5-stage interview process after 2 months. I get it, they've got 100's of applications and you cannot get back to everyone, but surely you could send a quick email to those who have gone through the whole process and were in the final stages. The interview did not follow any formal Barclays interview framework; they were not formed as competency questions and did not follow the RISES evaluation framework (that I had studied intensively). The questions were poorly framed and having spoke to 5 different people throughout the process; it seems like they weren't well prepared. One interview, their connection kept dropping out and audio was very poor, which was very off-putting.

Multiple level of Interviews. You must be know what are you talking about. Good bright people.

Short conversation with line manager and 2nd interview with peer. Not very complex or technical for a contract position. Looking for insight into background and experience and different problem solving techniques. Depends largely on recommendation or referral.
