I was called to come in for an interview. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a young man who asked me if I was there for the briefing. I responded that I was there for the interview and was a little confused by his wording, but continued to follow him into a room. I found myself in a conference type room with 4-5 other individuals and realized that it was a presentation. I listened to the presentation and received a call back for a second interview. I declined the second interview because the position was entirely commission based and I did not prefer some of the sketchy methods they used to recruit individuals for the position. I think it would be more beneficial to them and others if they informed applicants that you are not going in for an interview, but for a presentation to learn more about the company. You also need a significant amount of your own start-up money and there are no guarantees. I also did not like that the target market was seniors only or the company's attitude towards seniors.
