      Entrevista

      In one word, the experience was confusing. Initially, I received a call from a recruiter who took my profile details and mentioned she would get back to me if I cleared the screening round. After three days, I followed up, and she informed me that I had been rejected. I accepted it without issue. Surprisingly, after a week, I received another call from the same recruiter regarding the same position. When I mentioned I had already been rejected, she said it might have been a misunderstanding and that perhaps a different recruiter had contacted me. However, I had her number saved, so I knew it was the same person. She acknowledged there might have been some confusion and asked if I was still interested. I said yes, and shortly after, she scheduled a face-to-face interview. The interview was held at the BKC campus in Mumbai. As I was new to the city, I made sure to arrive 45 minutes early to avoid traffic. Upon reaching, I was told I couldn't wait inside the office premises as there was no waiting area. The office was on the 4th floor, and I waited on the ground floor until they allowed me in closer to my scheduled time. I was supposed to be interviewed by four people, but only one senior manager was available. He mentioned that my profile was a 100% match for the role and said he wouldn’t need much detail just a few questions. He then shared about the company, the role, and explained the vacancy arose due to the unfortunate passing of the previous employee. It was emotional and unexpected to hear. During the interview, I briefly shared my background and experience. He interrupted occasionally to ask questions, which was fine. He asked around 10 questions in total, 2–3 related to each of my previous roles. I answered them all. After about 10 minutes of Q&A, he said everything looked good and I could leave. Before leaving, I asked a couple of questions about the role, which he answered politely. The entire process lasted about 30 minutes. The next day, I followed up with the recruiter for feedback but got no clear answer. A few days later, she told me the interviewer had gone on vacation. I followed up again after four more days, but received no response. Unfortunately, I was left with no closure and was eventually ghosted.
