The first step is obviously the application, which was typical background information, for which the importance of the cover letter cannot be stressed enough. As with all consulting firms (particularly econ consulting), a thorough and concise cover letter is the most sure way to get your first interview (aside from networking and making connections). In the first round interview, I had two ~30 minute zoom calls with senior associates. Very run of the mill "get to know you" questions. Be sure to mention who you've networked with before then, show you know what econ consulting is, and demonstrate a keen interest. The superday included four ~40 minute zoom calls, one of which was a case style interview. Each is conducted by a different person, one of whom will be a senior partner. These interviews are very similar to the first round, with the case interview being very simple, serving to demonstrate that you can pick apart data trends, ask good clarifying questions, and be confident in your solution.
