A Typical Non-technical Engineering Role in China, One recruiter did a phone interview.
Asked for general behavior questions, most of the interview was conducted in mandarin, the middle portion was in English, which I believe was to test candidate's English language skills, but the recruiter's English is well below industrial average in China. Do not expect that from company of this caliber.
The recruiter was trying to dig deep onto resume's technical side. But again, he was trying to do something he cannot do. Most HRs talking about technical terms without real understanding of them. This one most likely never heard of technical terms.
The people in BMW (China) were trying to pretend to be working in a great company rather than being ones. There was no real meat in them.
