Applied online. Was contacted by hiring manager who had only been in the job a couple of months. This was a video interview but they refused to turn their camera on but insisted I had to have mine on. However they were very nice and enthusiastic about my skills and experience. I then had a follow up interview with the HOD, this went very well and again they were excited about the prospect of me being part of the team. The final interview was with the HOD and the two CEOs of the company. I was subjected to a grilling from both CEOs and I did very well in answering questions about my skills and experience. I was told I'd hear back in a couple of days whether I was to be made an offer or not. I didn't hear back. I left it for a week and sent a follow up email to the HM. They didn't respond. I left it another week and tried to contact them again. Again no response. Ghosting applicants after several rounds of interviews is just unacceptable. I would never work for a business that thinks this is acceptable to do. It is unprofessional and will eventually give you a bad reputation. Avoid at all costs.
