I was referred to the position by a friend and submitted my resume accordingly. After that, I was invited to an interview. The atmosphere was friendly and casual. During the interview, I was asked why I applied for the role and what kind of work experience I had. Along with these basic questions, we also had some light small talk, which made the overall experience comfortable and positive.

I applied through a friend's referral. The hiring process took two days and I was hired on the spot. My friend knew the BBW Regional Manager who was searching for event staff with ProServe certification for an upcoming event. I contacted the regional manager through telephone where we discussed the position and my previous experiences. After the telephone discussion, we scheduled an in-person interview on the following day to formally meet each other and complete paperwork. For the interview, I had to bring an updated resume, a completed Employment Application form and Agreement Policy form. At the interview, we reviewed my resume and paperwork. The manager discussed the BBW dress code, how to conduct ourselves at each event, and how I will get paid. I was hired on the spot and assigned my first job the following week.
