This was an entry level position. I applied through BASF's career section of their website. It took well over a month for them to pull my resume and make the initial contact. I was contacted via email for an initial phone interview with a recruiter. This was followed up by a second phone interview with the group leader. Last step was an on site interview. The onsite consisted of a 30 minute interview with the HR manager, a 30 minute technical interview I gave on previous research, and an hour panel interview with 6 members of the team that I would work with. There were only a few technical questions, the majority of the questions asked were behavioral, about why I wanted the position, and on previous projects I had worked on. They responded via email a week later to let me know that I had not been selected for the position.
