Lengthy application, followed by HireVue four video answers, followed by a techical coding question as well as an aditional four optional technical tasks, followed by an assessment centre.
Standard assessment centre featuring a group exercise, presentation, and a 1-on-1.
During the assessment day I was noted for my great group exercise contributions, being at top of the list with regards to the coding questions, as well as an absolutely stellar individual interview performance, yet in the end I was still rejected via an email sent in the middle of the night at 3am.
The only feedback given was just a single line about how apparently the person interviewing me for the presentation thought I struggled a little to get my points across which, considering my feedback for the other exercises, I thought was a really rubbish and vague reason to reject someone specifically applying for a non-client facing software development role.
