The interview process consisted from screening, a conversation with the hiring manager, a peer interview and the final presentation.
Friendly, but very soft-skill focused. For this role it is usually required to demonstrate your key KPIs, conduct sample pipeline analysis, build P&L or growth projection, or showcase the roadmap creation. Awin will ask you to make an abstract presentation about challenges you may face in the role and how you would approach them.
They put a strong emphasis on the process improvement, however, they don't use any process methodology like Lean or Six Sigma, while this is the industry standard approach to the process optimization, as tied to KPIs and data.
The hiring manager openly stated that this is for the offline industries, and unfortunately this shows that the team doesn't really know what it is and how it is adopted in the digital realm. Their understanding of the process improvement is based on the common sense, not the acknowledged methods.
It took them almost 3 weeks to inform that they chose another candidate and it was a good idea to acccept an offer from another company. The experience was generally positive but in the end disappointing as it feels that the company exists in a bubble and don't keep up with the methods widely used in similiar companies.
