Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Avnet (Phoenix, AZ) en jul 2024
Entrevista
The interview process began with a standard procedure: a recruiter reached out to me for an initial phone screen, followed by a one-hour virtual call with the director. I left the interview feeling enthusiastic about the opportunity. However, despite following up multiple times over the subsequent three weeks, I received no response from the recruiter regarding the status of my application. Eventually, I was notified through a generic Workday message that I had not been selected for the role.
It's important to recognize that during the interview process, candidates are evaluating the company just as much as they are being evaluated. Therefore, clear and consistent communication throughout the entire process is crucial. Unfortunately, I received no feedback on my interview or any insight into why I might not have been a fit for the company. This lack of communication left me with a negative impression of the organization and its approach to candidate care during the interview process.

Short and non-technical. It was a personable experience that did not require much preparation. When I arrived for the interview I was greeted at the door and brought into the office. It lasted around 20 minutes.

Very standard, what can you bring to the table, what sets you apart from other candidates, what experiences are you proud of, what do you hope to get out of this internship. Then there was an explanation of the internship process, a description of the time commitment, pay (excellent for an internship) and time for questions. After that I got a follow up interview and met the recruiter at a career fair just to associate my face to my name.
