Entrevista
I initially had a good phone interview with VP level who passed me on to the manager for the in person interview. The manager stated he was going to bring his "marketing manager" to the meeting at the restaurant. The manager showed up with shorts, sandals, and a wrinkled up shirt.. He then introduced me to his "marketing manager" only to find out she was not even an Avnet employee. He proceed to sip on a frozen alcoholic drink and eat food without offering anything. The other woman did not say anything during the entire time. After the first few minutes of discussing the job, he told me to talk to another company that needed "good sales reps". I told him I already talked to that company and the VP...he told me "he would call him". Then after 30 minutes he told me my time was up because he had a meeting with the other woman there. This had to be the most unprofessional interview I have ever had with no respect for candidates. I have had pleasant and professional experiences with other Avnet employees and am perplexed by their choice for such arrogance representing the company.

Applied online, contacted out of the blue 6 weeks later. Fairly standard F2F interview covering sales/tech/background. Was told there were 3 candidates in total and they would make a decision that week. Receive an email the following week saying another candidate was a better fit as they had "mates at the vendor". OK Fine. But 2 days later I see the same role re-advertised.
Time-wasters who can't seem to make a decision and the fact they chose to BS me on something as simple as this would suggest a lack of professionalism from the organization as a whole.

Standard fare, seemed to be dreaming about reseller partners they might be able to talk to if they weren't so timid.
