Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Avature en jul 2023

      Entrevista

4 phase interview with each one being at least an hour First is a general recruiter screening to gauge you as a candidate Second is a logic interview, pretty tricky but if you practice brain teasers you can get your brain to start thinking in the right direction and be prepped for the interview. 3rd is a technical interview - Overall not too difficult, but I let my nerves get the best of me on a few questions and fumbled some that I knew the answers to. Theres a mix of cybersecurity trivia questions and some aws security scenarios. I was told the first part of the interview would be them asking me what I did day to day in my current role to get an understanding of the technical things I do currently. That part of the interview never happened, it went straight into them asking me technical questions. I do think that part is important because you can really glean a lot on a candidates technical ability by allowing them to discuss the things they do currently in depth, but unfortunately I never got that opportunity. It is what it is, have no one to blame but myself. I didnt get selected for the 4th round but was told it was more behavioral. This interview process is quite lengthy, which is two fold, it can be frustrating that it takes up so much of your time that you schedule your work around, but these ones are also beneficial in getting more interview experience as a candidate. Overall a positive experience, they seem like a great company to work for and I wish them the best in their search!

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

General cybersecurity questions, some felt a little trivia based as not everyone thinks of these things everyday even though you are definitely familiar with these as a cybersecurity professional already, or you wouldnt be where you are. Just brush up on topics you dont do everyday in your current role

Hi and thank you very much for your feedback, we appreciate it! We want to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere during the interviews and do the best we can to make that happen. We also understand that being nervous can be a side effect of any assessment process. In addition to that, while we do our best to schedule interviews as fast as possible, our candidate-centered approach can sometimes take a bit of extra time, as we look at each candidate's interests and needs and analyze results at every step to customize our process. This can also lead to us going over things we've already discussed, as we try to deepen our understanding and keep an ongoing conversation. Even though we cannot comment on your specific case, feel free to reconnect with us and apply if you find a position that is interesting to you in the future.
