Very confusing interview process. After I submit my application, a recruiter invited me to a 10-15 minutes phone call saying they are interested in my "skill and background", and wanted to know "more" about myself. However, the phone call is purely about desired salary, location, and work authorization. A few days later, I got a rejection email saying after reviewing my "experience and background" they decided to not move forward. It's ironic that initially they are interested in my skills and background, and they invited to a phone call that has nothing to do with these. Then they rejected me without me sharing any details about my skills and experience.
