      Tive uma péssima experiência na entrevista, ela não deixou nem mesmo eu começar, me questionou se eu tinha uma habilidade especifica, e como eu não tinha parou a entrevista ali mesmo. O que é muito estranho, já que isso não estava na descrição da vaga. Achei de péssimo tom, e totalmente desrespeitoso.

      Recebi um convite para fazer entrevista para cargo de gerente, compareci no horário marcado e a entrevista foi bem tranquila, perguntas padrão, histórico profissional, benefícios da última empresa e pretensão salarial

      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Avalara (Pune) en ago 2021

      Entrevista

      Received a call from the company’s senior recruiter where he explained the role. Informed him that my skills match only 60% of the required skillset and I don’t have some of the technical skills required for the position. To which he said that’s fine and those skills are not mandatory. Round 1 - this was with the hiring manager in US. Most of the questions were around current project and agile methodologies. Few general technical questions. Round 2 - this was with the Director in Pune. Had a good experience. Interviewer was very professional and knowledgeable. Most of the questions were around cloud, architecture and general management. Round 3 - this was with a Senior Manager and Vice President both located in US. Most of the questions were around Agile and general management. After Round 3, received a call from recruiter stating feedback has been very positive and they want to schedule final round with CTO of the company. Accordingly Interview was scheduled with the CTO. Next day received a call again from recruiter saying hiring manager wants to have technical discussion before the CTO round. Recruiter then scheduled another round with the hiring manager and an Architect (Round 4). Round 4 - Pure technical round where most of the questions were for the exact skills I did not have which was told to the recruiter on the very first call to which he had said those are optional. I knew the result and as expected received the call from recruiter stating they won’t be going ahead as hiring manager wants someone with those technical skills. The entire interview process I found unorganised. Starting with recruiter where he did not know which skills are must. Then to hiring manager who could’ve simply read my resume to find out I don’t have the technical skillset they are looking for. Same thing could’ve been found in the very first round if he had asked those questions. Going through these many rounds and receiving the feedback which I myself had highlighted at the beginning was disappointing.
