The serie of 5.5 Hours Interviews. First interview with another SRE Engineer was great and absolutely relevant. But the second interview (the first one in the serie of 4.5 hours of panel interviews) was the worst in my life. The interviewer asked a potential SRE Engineer to write from scratch a code for a Snake game (and you can't google along the way). How is that related to the role? Why anybody would need it? I've explained the process and the dificulties I see in the implementation (aka Engineering Mindset), but I was asked again to write the code for the whole game (that would take hundreds of lines of code and you have to write it within ~45 minutes). Terrible waste of time. The worst interview process in my life.
