The process takes 7-14 days, which seems fairly simple and acceptable. Not much feedback is given by the staff though and they could improve in those regards. Also, if you are rejected no additional feedback is provided, only a generic message, which is kinda disappointing.

Slack chat with Automattic recruiter 3. Technical questions I needed to answer 4. Slack chat with possible trial lead 5. Trial! 6. Final slack chat with trial lead, wrapping up my experience. 7. Across one month, starting with written questions, and a 2-trial period. If you pass trial, then a couple more interviews before they decide if you're a fit. All comms happen on Slack.
