      The interview process started very positively. The interviewers were friendly, professional, and the discussions were engaging. I completed multiple interview rounds, including a presentation and a final skip-level interview with senior leadership. Up to that point, I had a very positive impression of Autodesk. Unfortunately, everything changed after the final interview. After investing considerable time preparing for several interviews and delivering a presentation, I received no communication whatsoever. Five business days after the final interview, I sent a polite follow-up email asking for an update. That email also went unanswered. I completely understand that companies choose other candidates or that hiring decisions can take longer than expected. What I do not understand is the complete absence of communication after asking a candidate to invest so much time in the process. A simple message such as *"We're still making a decision"* or *"We've decided to move forward with another candidate"* would have taken less than a minute to send. Ironically, the quality of the interviews created high expectations for the company. The complete lack of communication afterwards left a much stronger impression than the interviews themselves. I hope Autodesk improves its candidate communication, particularly for candidates who have invested significant time and reached the final stages of the hiring process. Overall, an excellent interview process overshadowed by an extremely disappointing candidate experience after the final round.
