I was contacted by an external recruiter about a year-long contract role. He had worked with Atlassian for years and recently on other contract-to-full-time roles. He also worked with me on the salary to allow for PTO and stayed in touch at every point of the process. I interviewed with three people at Atlassian: Marketing Lead, PMM, and a peer manager. All were very friendly and asked solid questions. Ended up offering to another final candidate, recruiter was surprised, so that was heartening.
