Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Asurion (Houston, TX) en abr 2024
Entrevista
First and foremost, they sat us all down in a sort of rec room and told us that the interviewers were late, as they had a meeting. Then, one of the operations managers made us watch a video while we “wait” for them. The interview covered the STAR method, basic customer service questions. I thought they were easy to answer. When it was time for me to ask questions, the interviewer only answered one question and didn’t let me ask any more. He told me that I would hear back from a recruiter. But I was able to check the workday portal which I applied to, where it said that I didn’t get an offer.

Try to sell me this device. (A pen wasn’t available so they used an electronic)
applied on indeed then got a link to apply on their website. emailed asking why i had to apply twice, got no response. despite having already applied, the link wasn't anything special or customized to me--just to the job posting on their website. when i clicked apply it forced me to join the asurion "talent network." why didn't the indeed apply button just link to this page? no
room for a cover letter here, had to paste it into my resume, forces you to select at least 1 of 2 subjects to receive spam about --either New job opportunities from Asurion recruiters or Asurion’s culture, benefits and people. you CAN'T PROCEED until selecting at least one. then you're forced to create an account. then you're brought to an 8 step application that included a 30 minute evaluation and again uploading a resume, thus completely defeating the purpose of having done so in the initial step and on indeed. i became less interested in this job and Asurion as a company as I trudged through this web of unnecessary complexities. then it had the nerve to ask for the last 4 of my ssn.
was automatically rejected by an algorithm scoring the eval--which is fine. the problem is for weeks after that i received automated emails about hiring events and open interviews and had to unsubscribe repeatedly. idiots are soliciting jobs to people they've already rejected. unsubscribing didn't work and the spam didn't stop until i began spamming random Asurion executives the following letter to leave me alone.
Interview went great got the job passes my background check and never heard back from anyone about starting the position. Over 3 weeks went by and they don’t answer emails or phone calls , never experienced this before!
