There were two phone interviews. One was going over your resume and the interviewer went quite into detail about your experiences and courseworks. For each class the interviewer asked what's learned in the class and then proceed to ask multiple relevant coding questions mostly about data structures and algorithms. Then they gave me a take home coding assignment that involves reading a streams of conference information and output in a certain format. I didn't have time to finish this but gave a working function that does the main string processing part. Then another phone interview to discuss your solution to the take home assignment.
