      Entrevista

      I strongly believe that interviewing a person is not only a job but also an art to reveal the true inner-self of the interviewee. Unfortunately, we rarely get a chance these days to express ourselves during the interviews which really test your personality. But the recruitment process in Assurity Consulting is incredible and the interviewers make candidates feel comfortable so they can express who they are and what they’re great at. My interview experience with Assurity has been the best in the last 10 years. I never expected that the recruitment team would be so friendly and co-operative with an interviewee who was at overseas. Their unmatched communication, great listening skills, genuine interviews and polite conversations completely reflected their willingness to hire me who had the required skill set for the job. They never made me feel that I was geographically 15000km far away from them throughout the recruitment process. I'm deeply grateful for all the support and patience throughout the whole recruitment and immigration process. There were three rounds - Initial telephonic round, Technical round, and Personality round. In all the three rounds - the interview questions were very well designed in such a way that it tested the attitude, personality, instinct reactions, leadership skills, self-esteem levels, consulting skills, professional ethics, challenges, philosophy, my passion towards my work, my dream role, my hobbies etc. along with technical capabilities that a tester should possess as a team layer. I thoroughly enjoyed answering those questions. The recruitment manager gave me very constructive and valuable feedback after each round. The team was extremely proactive in supplying me with all the paperwork that was required to for my work visa application. I was thrilled to see my people development manager from Assurity at Airport who actually came to pick me up from the airport to the hotel. The gift box from Assurity had so many gifts including your sim card, snapper deal care, eatable items and what not. One month prearranged accommodation saved me from having to arrange it from overseas, and from rushing into flat-search right on the arrival. My first-day induction was very motivating and I had a chance to meet everyone in the leadership team including the General Manager and the CEO of Assurity. The People and culture team ensured that I had a smooth transition and they really treated me as a very Special person who joined the Company.

      Met Assurity guys at NZ job fair at Melbourne, they took my contact details. The HR back after 3-4 weeks with an opening. First Telephonic interview with HR once cleared technical interview with senior consultants.

      Telephonic Interview Questions: (20 mins) -Why do you want to move to NZ? - Why do you want to work with Assurity? - How do you manage Defects? - Experience in Agile - Difference between Verification and Validation Technical Interview: (60 mins) All questions were mostly raised from the technical details mentioned on the CV. They went by scanning each line on my cv and questioning the details. - Agile work experience - How do you prepare defect strategy - What is entry, exit, suspension and resumption criteria - How do you prepare Test Plan - How do you approach testing process from the beginning to the finish - Example of low severity and high priority defect handling - What do you know about NZ I think they were trying to get someone with advanced technical skills in terms of automation testing with good SQL.
