I attended the Career Fair and spoke with a recruiter at the AIS table. He was impressed and actually suggested I apply to the Software Engineer II position despite not having the required years of experience. He also told me to attempt the "CanYouHackIt" Challenges. I applied for the Engineer II position that weekend and got a score of around 800 on the challenges. Got an email from HR about a quick phone screen, which lasted about 10 min just to double check my information. Got another email about a phone interview, which was scheduled very quickly for the next week. Phone interview was fair, mostly checking my technical and conceptual knowledge. The two interviewers were on the team I'd be working with and were very nice and fun to talk to. I then got a phone call at the end of that week about setting up a video interview (in place of an "on site") with the team. I had the video interview that next week on Wednesday with 5 of the engineers, mostly covering my experiences and what I might be interesting in working on. They were all very nice and really just wanted to get to know me. The next day I got a phone call that they wanted to move forward and check my references. I got a call back very quickly that they couldn't get ahold of my reference so asking for another one. I then got the call Friday with the offer, and HR went over the benefits package with me. Great interviewing experience, shoutout to HR for being incredibly kind and helpful and on top of everything!

I applied online via the company's website. The next day I received a call from HR to set up a phone interview, and a day after the phone interview I received a call to set up an on site in person interview.
Overall AIS has had the BEST hiring/recruitment practices of any company I have dealt with in the past. The HR rep I spoke with was personable and extremely prompt, returning any of my emails or calls within a day.
The phone interview was 30 minutes with a developer who worked on the same team I was applying for. The interview was mostly technical, with very few 'filler' HR-style questions. This included some specific knowledge tests on C/C++ syntax and OOP concepts/best practices.
The on-site interview took an hour, and was a group sit-down style interview with several of the members of the development team -- 3 in person and one screen-conferencing in. The dev who interviewed me by phone asked some the same questions again to test how well I studied those topics. There were also general questions about the experience I listed on my resume.
The on-site was on a Wednesday, I got a call the following Monday to verify my references, then a call on Tuesday with a formal offer.
