Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Asiatype en sep 2018
Entrevista
I applied online and was called in for screening. It was possibly the worst I ever had in my career so far. After waiting for one hour for a interviewer - who was late - I was greeted and told to take an abstract reasoning test. Why would you give a logic and abstract reasoning test made for an IT or engineering job to a proofreader? I hope the company reviews its HR methods. No way would it get the right candidates for the job through this ludicrous process.

Nothing was asked, just was given a logical reasoning test

Applied via email. Was interviewed in Manila, Philippines.
During the interview, an unfriendly and cold HR person approached me. They didn't even shook hands with me or something. I knew this was going to be a bad news.
I was given a test first—abstract reasoning test. Since I applied for the Proofreader position, I wondered why they gave me this kind of test instead of a verbal writing test or an actual editing/proofreading test.
Of course I didn’t get in.
When they are showing me out the door, they asked if I’m a fresh grad. Didn’t they read my résumé? I was dumbfounded.
Advice to the HR department: administer the right test for the position. An editor/proofreader will not respond well for a test made for IT and engineering peeps. Get to know well your candidates.
