Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Ashoka (Mascate) en may 2011
Entrevista
The application was sort of like a college app. You had to answer several questions with 200 word answers, most importantly how you were an entrepreneur. They then emailed to set up an interview about 4 weeks letter, and we schedule one for the following week via skype (I was living overseas at the time). The interviewer (who eventually became my supervisor and favorite all time colleague) asked questions that got at the answers that I had provided, asking for more detail, trying to understand if I was truly enthusiastic about entrepreneurship.
Very casual; first Skype interview and hour and a half in person interview in Arlington office. The skype interview takes about 20 minutes and is often performed by another intern at Ashoka, so it's easy to be at ease during the whole process. The interview in Arlington is with someone more senior, but it's also lead in a very natural and casual way; as a normal conversation would go.

Pregunta 1
Questions in first round are mostly about professional behavior; the second round, they look to see if you're a good fit with the organization in terms of vision and value. So you should know a thing or two about good examples of social entrepreneurs that have changed an industry/system and talk about how it compels you
Three interviews--mostly interested in why I'm interested in Ashoka. Asked about my own experiences as a "change-maker" and why social innovation is important.
