Very drawn out interview process where the role changed a couple of times and final round interviews were cancelled last minute. I was ultimately offered a consultant job for a role that I did not originally apply for but was interested in but was told there was no guarantee this would turn into a permanent role. Ultimately it felt like there was either no budget for hiring or the needs of the company were not clear. Expectation management about the role was not well managed and left a bad impression so did not accept the final offer.
