      Need to put the human back in Human Resources. At no point did I actually speak to anyone . I received an automated message requesting that I answer some questions video taped. After video taping myself and submitting my answers I received an automated rejection message . Would have been nice to speak to someone to understand if it was my salary requirements or the answers that eliminated me from the candidate pool.

      Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming response for the Talent Acquisition Specialist position, we decided to request video responses from some candidates to expedite the process and give as many candidates as possible the chance to highlight their skills and experience. In our effort to give more candidates the opportunity to move past the screening stage, however, we do realize that the process may have seemed impersonal. We use this method very infrequently as we, too, prefer the personal interaction that one gets through a live call. Your feedback, however, is a reminder that technology will never replace the value in human interaction, and we will certainly keep this is mind for the future. Contrary to what you may have thought, though, we do not utilize auto-generated communication for candidates; any communication that you received via email was, in fact, crafted by a real live human. We take the candidate experience very seriously and appreciate any and all feedback from candidates like yourself.
