I applied online and was contacted soon after by the hiring manger for the position, asking for an interview. I came in a couple weeks later and talked to him. He asked basic questions to get to know me, gave me a tour of the building, and told me about the company and the position. A little while later, he called me back and asked me to come in and interview with four other people at the company. I did all of those in a two-hour period. Each person had his own way of getting to know me. It was essentially to see whether different people on the team thought I would fit in with the company. Later, after not hearing from them for a few weeks, I called the original hiring manager and he told me that they had given the position to someone else.
