Entrevista
I applied in October 2017 through an online application. Because I did an internship with them before, I didn't have to do a telephone interview.
I attended an assessment centre in December 2018. The day involved a technical exercise where you worked independently for 45mins based on one of the provided scenarios of your choice. This was followed by an interview with two engineers where you discussed the work you produced during the technical exercise. During this interview, I was asked, "Why Arup?" and "Why civil/structural engineer?". I was also asked to do a bending moment diagram for a frame.
The next part of the assessment centre was a tour of the office with a recent graduate engineer where you got to ask questions.
Finally, you sat in a group of about 6 and discussed a problem in front of 3 Arup employees.

Online video interview. Asked to record 1:30 minute responses to 3 questions. Given time to plan answers and re-record if necessary. Questions were very general about why the job offer appeals to you
Applied online in October and then got invited to a virtual assessment centre that happened in December. The online application was pretty straightforward. The virtual assessment centre was a whole day type of thing, it consisted of a technical interview with two panelists, a competency based interview, and then a case study.
