I was told by an associate that there was an office near where I lived that was hiring for housekeepers. They drove me to the back of the building (the employee entrance of the building). I rang the doorbell, asked the "front desk" for the cleaning supervisor by name (provided by associate) and stated my business. I waited about 5 minutes for the supervisor to come down. We set an interview date and time. I showed up on time, resume printed and in hand, along with all my identification. I was hired on the spot. Started work that Friday.
