I was welcomed by a unit secretary for a med surg unit I applied for, felt very welcomed by all personnel and had been shown all the perks of the unit as well as where everything is located in each side of the unit and the unit manager was very professional and personable. Felt very comfortable and relived all of stress. During the interview I asked about scheduling accommodations and what shift I would want. By that evening I was offered my preferred shift and a livable pay wage for all my expertise in personal care.
