Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Arista Networks (Bengaluru) en sep 2015
Entrevista
I got myself referred to Arista through one of my friends. Recruiter called me in about a day after that. The interview got scheduled in 2 days time. There was no phone interview as I was already in Bangalore and they asked to come over for F2F interview. I was told that it would take not more than half a day.
- Reached office at around 9 AM.
- First round was coding round. Good thing is they give a laptop and asked to code on it. There were questions on basic problem solving, algorithms and some language fundamentals.
- Second round was problem solving + technical round. They asked to design a real world problem, asked to write header files for the interfaces and write down how it will be implemented. This was by a couple of directors of engineering in Arista Bangalore.
After that had informal discussions with another manager and a lunch. Overall it was done by 2 PM.
Got selected and received offer within 2 weeks.

Pros:
Great initial approach – the recruiter thoroughly checked my GitHub profile and projects before the interview, which is very uncommon and shows they do their homework.
Cons:
A major mismatch between the job description ("Software Engineer C++") and the actual interview reality. The technical stage on CoderPad strictly tests bare-metal C98 skills: raw pointers, manual bitwise operations, and packing bytes into 64-bit integers. If you are accustomed to modern C++ (RAII, templates, safe memory management), this will feel like a massive step backward. Additionally, the time expectations for live low-level bit-shifting were unrealistic, to the point where the interviewer started solving the task themselves.
Interview was kind and not stressful, just minor mismatch of naming

Pretty good, not too complicated, was comfortable. Mostly LC questions, and was easy enough that you should be able to do it after doing NC150. good luck for the interview!
Starts with online test, then three rounds of technical interviews follow.
Not a lot of discussion, just go straight to the technical challenges which have to be solved in time
