Was introduced to the project and asked if I had experience and or interest in the work. Discussed background and career goals, then internship logistics. Had an additional meeting with the team i'd be working with.

Simple and stress-free. I spoke directly with who would become my mentor, so it was a great way to get to know them as well. They just wanted to get a feel for my experience, interests, and I had the opportunity to ask more about what an internship was like at Argonne.
