      Four Interviews, Two Club Visits, and No Communication Until I Followed Up I interviewed for a Member Engagement Coordinator position with Arcis Golf over the course of approximately one month. The process included four interviews, two on-site club visits, and one interview that lasted nearly two hours. Throughout the process, I was told the company expected to make a decision early in the week. That timeline passed without any communication. I sent a follow-up email and still did not receive a response until I escalated the matter to another leader. I was then told the company had decided to move forward with another candidate whose background was more closely aligned with the role. That same morning, however, the position appeared as a new listing on LinkedIn. Companies are entitled to choose whichever candidate they believe is the best fit. The issue was not the rejection. The issue was the lack of basic communication after asking a candidate to invest significant time, travel, preparation, and emotional energy into an extended interview process. For an organization that emphasizes hospitality, inclusion, and member experience, the candidate experience did not reflect those stated values.
