I was requested to visit HQ for a total of 2 in-person interviews and then received an update that they passed on my application around 2 weeks later. The second interview the director of the department I conversed with wasn’t very welcoming and friendly.. Overall, I’d recommend Arbella not waste candidate’s time and resources to travel to in-person interview two separate times, especially in the year 2024. Unfortunate waste of time and traveling for nothing.

Got a phone interview with recruiter shortly after I applied online. Recruiter was friendly enough but at the end of the conversation she said they ask candidates to take The Predictive Index questionnaires.
The Predictive Index looks innocent enough except on question #2 on the first tab is AGE. Subsequent questions on the same page were similar to online applications questions of race, gender, and disability. In the Index, these sensitive questions are required to choose before going to the next 2 pages to describe your personalities.
It is inappropriate to ask for age; and almost illegal depends on how they spin it. Arbella Insurance may say those sensitive questions are for demographic purpose for The Predictive Index, the company. Either way, Arbella should be more responsible for what they ask candidates to fill out.
I guess they want to weed out certain workers in their hiring process. I am glad that I no longer use Arbella as my home and vehicles insurance.
