Applied online for a Branch Manager position. About 2 months later, I was contacted by a regional recruiter who said the position was on hold, but had recently opened back up. Did a one hour phone interview, answered general questions about previous sales experience; difficult customers, employees managed, personal goals, meetings sales quotas, and pretty much your line-card sales & management questions. I was OK'd for a face-to-face interview. Did some online research on the the District Manager I was to interview with, nothing came up. Checked BBB , along with other blogs, for the branch- no complaints. Met with District Manager, breezed through the interview to give myself an opportunity to interview as I just wasn't into the job any longer. Nothing against the company, I'm sure they have a great product/service. My two cents- Visit the location, check out the site and employees you are to work with/manage prior to interview.
