I recently had an interview with Applied Optics and unfortunately, the experience left me disappointed and frustrated. After filling out all the required forms, including my social security number and references, I was denied the position only 15 minutes after the interview without any explanation or follow ups. This was incredibly disheartening, as I had taken the time to prepare for the interview and was hopeful about the opportunity. I would caution any future candidates who are considering applying to Applied Optics to be aware of the company's hiring process. While the interview itself may seem promising, there's no guarantee that you will be given a fair chance. Additionally, the company's policy of collecting sensitive personal information from candidates before a job offer is made raises concerns about data privacy and security. Overall, my experience with Applied Optics was disappointing, and I would advise others to approach the company with caution. It's important for employers to treat their candidates with respect and fairness, and unfortunately, this was not my experience with this particular company.
