Me postulé en persona. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Applebee's (Lorain, OH)

I had a drop-in interview with manager who was very nice. We sat in a booth and she reviewed my application with me. She stated they were looking to fill the position and we had a general conversation that included questions about my past experience. She said I should expect to hear back from her very soon and then I never did. An acquaintance who worked at the location said my application went into the box in the back that they never look at but are required to keep.

This was a pretty easy interview process. I was asked if I had ever dealt with difficult people and to say what was my motivation for wanting to work at Applebees. It was overall very chill and I enjoyed it.
It was very simple, on the Applebee's web site, I selected a place and position. Answered about 5 mostly contact related questions and then selected a time for a 1st interview. I think they mostly wanted to see that I was early, dressed nicely (but I didn't wear a tie), and had a pleasant personality via a smile and firm handshake. I was called back for 2nd interview. I am currently waiting to hear back, but think I got the job.

From start to finish, it was smooth, respectful, and focused on getting to know me as a person and my skills. The interviewers were friendly and made me feel at ease, which really helped to reduce any nerves. I appreciated how the process emphasized a conversation rather than just formal questioning, allowing me to showcase my strengths in a natural way. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I felt valued throughout the entire process."
