Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Applebee's (Clay, NY) en jun 2015
Entrevista
I applied back in March and was denied over email. When returning from school I was talking to a manager I knew and he said that I should apply and he would push me forward. A few days later, I was asked to come in for an interview. At the interview, the front of house manager interviewed me, asked me how I knew the manager that referred me and asked about school and my past work. She hired me on the spot. They are looking for a smile and good personality.

This was a pretty easy interview process. I was asked if I had ever dealt with difficult people and to say what was my motivation for wanting to work at Applebees. It was overall very chill and I enjoyed it.
It was very simple, on the Applebee's web site, I selected a place and position. Answered about 5 mostly contact related questions and then selected a time for a 1st interview. I think they mostly wanted to see that I was early, dressed nicely (but I didn't wear a tie), and had a pleasant personality via a smile and firm handshake. I was called back for 2nd interview. I am currently waiting to hear back, but think I got the job.

From start to finish, it was smooth, respectful, and focused on getting to know me as a person and my skills. The interviewers were friendly and made me feel at ease, which really helped to reduce any nerves. I appreciated how the process emphasized a conversation rather than just formal questioning, allowing me to showcase my strengths in a natural way. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I felt valued throughout the entire process."
