Convoluted. Received an invitation to take part in a project. Jumped through multiple hoops, only to be told at the very end that the project wasn't actually accepting people. Then did I was to apply for another project that paid a pittance by comparison. No thank you.

Went through an automated online process that was not user friendly and required multiple contacts with their support team to try to make sense of things. Support team offered cut/paste responses or sent emails 'issue has been resolved' with no further explanation.
