Applied for the position and after finding a common acquaintance with the hiring manager got called by the head of recruiting. Spent 45 minutes on the phone with him and then about 90 minutes with the hiring manager, followed by an hour each with two of his direct reports. The interviews went well, we had good interaction and interesting insights, and then they went into radio silence. Five weeks later the position seems to be filled, and still not a word from the company. After spending many hours talking to them, and even more learning the business model and industry, a quick email would have been nice.
