The interview process started off great… 1. Interview with Recruiter 2. Power day (5 interviews via Zoom) I intend for this review to be constructive and informative. They reached out to me regarding this opportunity. Communication was subpar. You’re expected to jump over hoops during the interview process but they provided no proper updates afterwards. The recruiter would disappear for days/weeks at a time and then mention that she would be meeting the hiring manager the next day. She did let me know they liked me. This response was sent multiple times over a 3 week period. If you expect your candidates to take time out of their schedule you should be able to spare 2 minutes to update them. I didn’t get the role but I’m good. I still haven’t heard back from the recruiter though… Thank you for the opportunity and good luck!

Prior to the interview, I had two phone screens with an external recruiter and then the hiring manager. The interview was long but wonderful, everyone was very nice. It was 5 45 minute one on one interviews, so quite lengthy time commitment. Post interview, I was nearly ghosted. The internal recruiter said they would let me know more within a week. After the week, I followed up and they extended it again. I followed up three separate times after which I gave up. A full three months later I was informed by the external recruiter that I was not selected.
