Questions that did not have much to do with the role. Felt uneasy/odd being interviewed by a wife/husband duo (owner of company/director) who made inside jokes. Applied for the role, received a call the same day and asked to attend interview next day. The day after the interview I was 'given' the role. I was not offered the job, but 'sold' the job using their odd sales tactics - it was assumed I would take the job, not a question of whether or not I wanted it etc. Never told pay rate, even after asking, was always dodged and answered in a round about way (even after I started working there) and had to wait until first pay to actually know rates. Contract came after a month and was oddly worded. All very fake and very much felt that the company had something to hide from the very first impression (RED FLAG - warning bells that led to bullying and belittling behaviour by the very person who owns the company). Don't get sold on the idea of being involved in media and television, this company is a no go and you will walk out of the interview feeling uneasy and then if you take the job, you will wish you never did. A lot of 'showboating'about how they have a show on television and how you can be involved in more than just sales because they are a small company. Ha! I dare you to try,...it won't be fun, unless your idea of fun is being treated in a passive aggressive manner.
