      Entrevista

Fast response During an onsite interview with a team of 5-6 people, I encountered an individual who stood out as the most toxic person I've ever met in my professional life. He stared at me without a word or a blink for an unnervingly long time, creating an atmosphere as if he were a prison guard and I were the prisoner. This person did not introduce himself, which struck me as incredibly rude and unprofessional. He arrogantly stated that he would only work with "smart people," a statement that was both ridiculous and insulting. Despite his self-proclaimed standards, I found him far from intelligent. Adding to the discomfort, this mechanical engineer was electrical lead, interviewing for an electrical engineer position, even though he wasn't the hiring manager but he played a big role as he is the electrical lead ( weird although). Another mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience behaved similarly, with a piercing gaze that felt hostile, though at least he had the decency to introduce himself. The rest of the interview panel consisted of normal, professional individuals, but the mix of toxic and good cultures was unsettling. I found a similar sentiment on Glassdoor from another electrical engineer who mentioned, "He did not introduce himself and asked very interrogative questions about my work to try to get as much detail as possible."

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

The electrical lead, who is a mechanical engineer conducted the interview for an electrical engineering position. When the electrical engineer candidate could not answer certain more mechanical related questions or recall minute details, the interviewer deemed the candidate unqualified.

      Entrevista

Recruiter Screening (first interview round) where they asked me some basic questions about myself and resume, then followed up at the end with some simple technical questions. I think I didn't do a great job explaining myself and my background which is why I didn't move on past this, but I got the technical questions right.

      Pregunta 1

Asked me about a difficult project I have been a part of as well as a simple voltage divider.

      Entrevista

The interview began with a typical HR screening that talked about the company and their mission, along with the responsibilities of the role. The second interview is a 45 minute technical interview with an electrical engineer.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

Voltage divider, diode drop, RC circuit analysis. The second round technical interview focused on synchronized buck converter and its primary function/operation. Along with a focus on trace capacitance, resistance, and inductance concepts that you should be familiar with when designing a PCB. Additionally, make sure you understand how to choose decoupling capacitors sizing and their function in buck/boost converter IC's.

      Entrevista

Went through the first 2 rounds of interviews. First round was with an HR person asking basic questions about me and my experiences, then I had 3 simple EE questions. The second round was all technical questions and got asked about some of my project and had to explain them in detail.
